325 Troop - An Independent Cadet Organisation
On behalf of 325 Troop, welcome to our website.
We would like to clearly state that our Volunteer Staff Members only hold their rank within the organisation, on no account should they be mistaken for His Majesty’s Armed forces. The rank structure is to maintain the discipline and structure within the troop.
Our staff come from a variety of backgrounds, some ex service personnel, some are former cadets, some are simply 'civilians' bringing experiences and skills from a variety of roles.
Uniformed staff members are not permitted to use their given rank outside of their troop role.
325 Troop Independent Marine Cadets was born out of an idea of like minded individuals from previous cadet units who wish to get our young people 'off the streets' and 'away from their screens'. We are committed to offering all Cadets a great experience whilst expanding knowledge and skills.
While we are not affiliated to the Ministry of Defence (MOD), we closely follow MOD Cadet training programmes to give an adapted programme of learning and development for young people aged 10 to 18 years. Our aim is to allow all young people an opportunity to make new friends and learn new skill that will allow them to develop transferable skills that will last a life time!
Being an Independent cadet unit comes with many advantages. Indeed, there's many units up and down the country.
